STEP 1: PRE-ADMISSION APPLICATION FORMS 

Complete all applicable Application Forms and submit to Newbridge Academy:

Headstart Admissions Package - Grades Junior Primary (including all academic/financial information and forms)

Elementary Admissions Package - Grades Primary-6 (including all academic/financial information and forms)

Junior High Admissions Package - Grades 7-9 (including all academic/financial information and forms)

STEP 2: ASSESSMENT INTERVIEW 

Upon receipt of the completed application package, Newbridge Academy may contact you to ar-range an assessment interview. The assessment interview takes about 45 minutes to one hour and includes observing student interactions among classmates and teachers, a focused time on fine and gross motor skill
development (specific to age/grade), as well as academic skills & knowledge. A small student/parent interview will be included to indicate life skills and interests. There is a non-refundable charge of $75.00 for the Assessment Interview. This is to be paid upon date of Assessment Interview. 

STEP 3: ENROLLMENT OFFER & ACCEPTANCE LETTER 

Depending on the time of year, and the number of available seats within each class, Newbridge Academy will notify parents of their initial acceptance offer in writing that will include a specific time limit to complete enrolment
documentation (typically 15 days). 

At the time of enrolment, parents are required to pay a $500 deposit to secure a spot in the their class. This deposit is carried over as part of the Commitment Bond fee. Without this deposit, class sizes may fill and parents may lose their spot and be put on a waiting list. 

Parents should understand that once a student starts a program, all program financial commitments and school fees are non-refundable regardless of the reason for withdrawal. 

Newbridge Academy’s policy is to require an enrolment contract to be signed prior to the start of a program, stating refundable and non-refundable fees, as well as to set up tuition payments for the academic year. It is the parent’s responsibility to maintain their payments through post-dated cheques, authorized monthly debit or credit payments, or to phone/come in to pay directly. Please note that if fees and contracts are not paid and signed, Newbridge Academy reserves the right to withhold student grades or dismiss enrolment.
