Newbridge Academy is committed to the development of the child’s mind, body and spirit through the integration of education and sport.


Our Vision

At Newbridge Academy we believe that tomorrow’s graduate needs to be imaginative and critical thinkers, cooperative team players, competent technology users/managers, and most importantly, life-long learners.

Our vision for Newbridge Academy is to be the premier democratic learning community for Grades Primary to Twelve (P-12). To do this our curriculum encapsulates 100% of Nova Scotia’s Department of Education learning outcomes, delivering it through our educational model enriched with many key interpersonal skills that students will need to meet tomorrow’s economic, social, environmental, and political challenges.
