At Newbridge Academy Nova Scotia certified teachers deliver an enhanced Nova Scotia Education curriculum to students in our Junior Primary program (age 4) through to Grade 9. Class sizes are small, offering low student/teacher ratios where each student has their own personalized education plan. At Newbridge Academy, children develop key skills for the 21st century such as life and goal setting skills, technology and media-relations, along with critical thinking and leadership skills. At Newbridge Academy classroom text-book learning is supplemented with modern technology such as media-based activities, digital texts and technology-equipped classrooms. Junior High students are provided with their own Apple iPad 2. The full curriculum is online so students can access lessons and information to enhance their ability to learn anywhere with Internet access.

Newbridge Academy supports and promotes the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Every student has the opportunity to take part in our Active Living program. This unique program teaches the value of good health and nutrition while providing athletics and fitness for every child at every level. Furthermore, students participate in either our Hockey Skills Program, Athletic Development Program, or Custom Elite program. There is something for everyone. Music, art and drama play an important role as part of the well-rounded education offered at Newbridge Academy. We provide extra time for visual arts and enrich it with a Canadian Drama curriculum.
