Advanced Hockey Program

Newbridge Academy would like to introduce our new Advanced Hockey Program. Beginning at the start of the 2013 academic year, Newbridge Academy will be offering a program designed to give young hockey players the advantage of one-on-one coaching beyond the scope of our successful Classic Hockey Development Program.
Coaches will have the time go the extra mile for a more personalized approach. Students will also receive the required physiological proficiencies to achieve elite status, while enrolled in a leading-edge academic program.

The goal of the Newbridge Academy Advanced Hockey Program is to expose students to personalized coaching instruction and mentorship. The one-on-one coaching dynamic is designed to prepare our students to advance to higher levels of competitive play.

Using our own hockey professionals, and expertise from other leading hockey programs, we have created a comprehensive program that is unheard of in Atlantic Canada. Everyday, our intensive program will include on- and off-ice personal hockey instruction, strength and conditioning, nutrition education, and Mental Skills Training.

We will also provide an enhanced education through interactive, engaging and innovative teaching methods—offering Nova Scotia Department of Education credits. We will continue the academic foundation Newbridge Academy has laid, and will grow with the students to meet their specific requirements to achieve their goals.
